After an upgrade to EE core v4.9.79 I cannot find “Stripe” as a transaction refund option inside the Payment methods dropdown selector. Of course I have Stripe activated as a payment method. Am I missing something?
Yes. You’ll need to activate Stripe for the admin side, then it will appear as an option there. You go to Event Espresso > Payment Methods > Stripe settings. There you’ll find the Usable From? setting where you’ll check the box next to Admin Registration Page (no online processing), then save so the settings take effect.
Please be aware that the Apply Refund option in Event Espresso > Transactions is for accounting purposes. In other words, it does not initiate a refund with Stripe. You can initiate in your Stripe account’s dashboard.
