Stripe Integration with API keys

This was somewhat covered in:

but is there still a way to allow users to just type in their credit info on the page instead of having to deal with the Stripe pop-up? It’s just an extra step they didn’t used to have to do, and it interrupts the user experience.

The short answer is no, because the Event Espresso Stripe gateway was built on Stripe Checkout. Someone would need to build a gateway on Stripe.js in order to have the billing inputs on the checkout page.

As an aside, The Stripe Checkout modal is actually more secure and without it your web server and website would need to meet the more rigorous SAQ A-EP requirements in order to be PCI compliant.
