Hi
We are using Stripe Add-On and when we have tested the process it works well but in the Stripe account we need to receive the Name of the person who had made the transaction. The fields on the Stripe Payment ‘pop-up’ at checkout only allow for CC details. Currently all we get is Email address, Description (which is the Event) and amount. I contacted Stripe who said that this would have to be solved by the plugin developers. How can we ensure the Name goes into the Stripe account please?
Thanks

Hi Brad,

With Stripe to collect the users name you’ll need to set the option to collect the users billing address within the Stripe Payment Method to yes.

Go to Event Espresso -> Payment Methods -> Stripe.

There you will find ‘Collect the user’s billing address?’, set that to Yes and retest.

Stripe should now request the user name and full billing address when processing the payment, this will then show up within the transaction in Stripe.

Great, that works perfectly. Rather obvious wasn’t it, sorry!
Thanks for the great support.
