Hello, I am writing to follow up to this support request.

Also, for some reason, I never got a notification when you replied to my message.

In reply to your message, we now use Event Espresso 4.10.32.p. But I do not think this is related to the version.

I think that this has been the case for ever. Did you test it in your setup?

Can you get default country to work?

Does the State select box populate when you change the country?

Please let me know how I can help to resolve this issue or if I need to write some code for it, since we definitely need to resolve asap in order to provide our clients better UX.

Could it be possible to convert the State input into a text-area, so that people just type their state?

I set up the Stripe in my local environment, and the “State” is populated accordingly to the Country. You can watch how it’s here: https://share.cleanshot.com/dzvd7C
