Stripe API Issue – Not reflecting the full correct amount.

We are having an issue where in some transactions the Stripe gateway is off by a penny compared to what is listed on the website. $640.81 is on the website but its being charged as 640.8 (missing 1 cent) in Stripe, for example.

The amounts do need to match up for Accounting to match against credit card charges.

Do you have any idea why this might be? It seemed to start in November.

We have a spreadsheet of specific transactions if you need them.

Any guidance is much appreciated! Thank you!

Hi there,

Are you using the legacy or advanced editor?

Can you link me to an event this happened on so I can take a look?

Hi Tony, So sorry for delay!
1. We are using the Legacy editor.
2. This is the event ID 259819
Captivate Intro
3. The Government GSA Price for this event is $640.81 (and for all of our 2-Day Classes where they select the GSA Government Discount Price and its happening to all events) but Stripe is processing $640.80. See Stripe Transaction that shows the incorrect amount (64081) from the EE API to STRIPE. Any ideas? Thanks!

I’d need to log in and dump out the line items for that transaction to see if anything shows up there.

If you can send me WP Admin and FTP credentials I can do that, just send those over using this form:

https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

Or if you’re happy for me to dump the database I can download it locally and take a look at that.

Viewing the charge/transaction gives me the end result… but we already know that’s wrong here so I need all the pieces that make up that transaction (line items) to see where it’s going wrong.
