Hi Guys
I have installed your free version but I’m worried about upgrading to Pro due to the following – could you please advise:
1/ there are two page layouts which are basically the same – the first page of the event listings and then when you select to register the registration page doubles up all the information again!
2/ can the google map display in the listing?
3/ there are a crazy number of click throughs required before making the booking – after they have registered they then need to confirm their registration then they have a payments options page before finally paying. Why can’t they just go straight through from the registation page directly to PayPal – this is how most ecommerce processes work and your process is extremely long and annoying!
4/ page layout is very bland – the template doesn’t seem to have much formatting and just dumps all the info after each other running down the page
5/ can there be one event name but with multiple different locations and dates ie my client has one workshop that they present at many different locations and dates.

thanks in advance

Hi,

Here is feedback on your questions.

1) The events listing page will show the events in a list based format and when you click on that, then it takes you to the single event page which is more detailed. There is an option in the regular version of Event Espresso 4 to show the pricing option selector on the events listing page and this will let a guest start a registration there

2) Google maps are also supported in the regular version of Event Espresso 4

3) Information is collected for a guest and then a payment is associated. A one-click register and pay option isn’t available as the person that is registering may not be the person that is paying.

4) Event Espresso comes with basic styling and then adapts to your theme. Do you have a screenshot of the styling issues that you are seeing?

5) You can create different venues and then link them to the event. If the event itself is similar, then you could duplicate the event and then enable the venue and save changes. Then repeat this process for the different dates for the venue.
