Sticky Menu not kicking in on EE page

I’m using Event Espresso 4.10.1 with Avada Theme v6.1.1. On the event list page when you scroll down, the header doesn’t switch to the sticky menu like it does on all the other pages. If I inspect the code while scrolling, the classes are still switching correctly to trigger the CSS changes.

Thoughts on where else to look?

Hi,

I’m not very familiar with the Avada theme, have you contacted Avada support? I get that they may remark this is an issue caused by the Event Espresso plugin, but they may also have an idea why that’s happening.

Other than that, if you can share a link to the page in question we can investigate further.

You can see the behavior here…
https://staging14.staging2.wilmingtonkennelclub.org/events

I can check with the Avada people. That’s why I watched the classes to make sure they were still switching since that’s what makes the css change and menu switch.

I also checked both Firefox and Chrome.

Thanks for any help!

There doesn’t appear to be any published events, so there’s not enough content for my browser to have anything to scroll. Should I assume there’s no published events there yet?

One thing you could do is add a few regular blog posts, and check the post archives page, then see if the same behavior exists on that archive. The Event Espresso event archives page should use that same template.

Just added an event and now it works. Sorry about that. It must have been the perfect height to trigger the class changes but not really.

Thanks for the help!!
