EE 3.1.36.5.P

I notice that the Filter Category drop-down menu in Event Overview page offers:

* Active / Ongoing
* All (Active / Inactive)
* Inactive
* Pending
* Draft
* Waitlist
* Ongoing
* Denied
* Deleted

However, the individual event edit page shows this on the right-side panel:

* Event Status:
** Public
** Waitlist
** Ongoing
** Draft
** Deleted

Inactive, Pending, and Denied are missing from the larger list. Why the difference?

Also, in the event edit page, there are two answers to provide regarding the event:

* Is this an active event? (yes/no)
* Event Status (all five mentioned above for the shorter list)

Could an event be, say, “deleted” and “active” at the same time? Semantically, I’m not sure that makes much sense.

a lot of things in EE3 grew organically in response to customer demand. That’s why we entered into the bottom up redesign that became EE4.
