Sometimes instead of a proper map I get a small graphic called staticmap.png with a map with an x and what appears to be a fuel gauge. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Monica,
The map is requested from the Google Maps servers so it should load without any issues. Are you able to reproduce this issue or is it sporadic?

It’s sporadic- most of the time it’s fine but I’ve seen it at least 10 times over the past few months both on desk and on mobile.

Hello,
Sporadic issues are can be tricky to correct but I can perform some refreshes in multiple browsers and look in Chrome Developer Tools.
Could you link to a page so I can take a look?
