Hello – |
Hi Sandra, Are you collecting the state on the registration form (not the billing form)? If you click to edit the contact details of one of the registrations – http://take.ms/bfaRS Do you see the state field set there? |
|
|
I do see the state info there. |

If you can see it in the contact info then it should already export by default. In the CSV do you see an empty column or no column at all? By default, it should look something like this – http://take.ms/MY3ic
One per page in the CSV? We don’t have an option for this, each registration will create a new row in the CSV, but not a new page. To export all registrations you go to Event Espresso -> Registrations. At the bottom of the registration list will be an ‘All Registrations CSV’ button, click that to export all registrations across all events. When you click that button, does it show another page showing X amount of rows written to the CSV repeatedly, or does it just download the CSV straight away? |

Have you had any customizations done to the output of the CSV at all? The default state field is included in all CSV reports even if its empty the header should always be in the CSV unless it’s been removed. For example, here is the CSV from a clean site with 0 registrations – http://take.ms/aH1w6 Note the State header is included, if you don’t have the header then there is something changing the fields in the CSV.
To test the above you should be downloading all of the registrations in a single report to confirm the state info doesn’t display for all of them. Did you follow the steps in the second part of my reply here: https://eventespresso.com/topic/state-info-not-exporting/#post-279688 The reason I ask is the last questions lets me know if your site is set to use the ‘batch’ CSV system or other ‘older’ CSV we have in place.
Sorry, but I don’t follow what you are trying to do. What is a registration page in this context? |

A single excel worksheet for each row of the CSV export doesn’t make any sense, so I’m guessing I’m misunderstanding. May I ask, why do you need a new page per registration?
That doesn’t actually answer my question. When you download the CSV, do you briefly see this something like this – http://take.ms/4MZvq Or does the file instantly start downloading? Now you have 3 columns missing rather than just one? Has the CSV output been customized by a developer at all? |

Hi, I checked your site and I can see that the City, State and Zip code fields are actually just text fields and not the standard City, State and Zip code fields from the Address Question group. So when you look in the individual registration record, you’ll see the data from those fields under “Registration Form Answers” and not under “Contact Details”. What you can do is remove those and any other address fields from the Hospital Registration Question Group, then activate the Address Question Group within the event (check the checkbox next to Address). This way, the built-in Address fields will be activated and the data can be passed to the CSV report as expected. |

I can look into that and get back with you. May I ask though, why the private replies? Usually a private reply is used for sharing specific information about a site. |
