Hi I followed the code that was advised on this thread

So that we had a free form field for the billing state, not a drop down.
However like on that thread the form now has a 0 in the state field as default. In the above thread, it said this got fixed though. How do I fix it on my site?

Hi there,
Rather than the code posted in that thread, I recommend using the snippet available here:
https://github.com/eventespresso/ee-code-snippet-library/blob/master/checkout/mn_billing_form_state_and_country_text_inputs.php
That should prevent the 0 showing in the state field.
