When I make a new event and I put in the event time range it will auto change the start finis times showing to the public. when someone signs up it will email that incorrect time to the enrolled person. I had someone that this really messed them up because they thought that we were truly doing an event at the time stated, understandably since the email and site said so. How do I fix this.
You’ll need to update your site to have the current version of EE. In this case, your site has an older version of EE3. The current version includes some compatibility fixes for WordPress 5.3.
Since your support license only gives you access to EE4, you could download the current version of Event Espresso 3 via this link. Then manually re-install the plugin. Or you could go to your account page and switch your support license to an EE3 license.
Hey to be honest I don’t know how to do that. I teach people how to drive so any help on how to do whatever makes it work would be great. Imagine you are showing a 15 year old how to start the car. Can you explain it in those simple of terms. Don’t assume i even know what a key or ignition is. That would be great help. People who did my website said not their problem and I am stuck.
As an aside, if they’re professionals, the people that did your website should take some responsibility for maintaining the website. WordPress websites require updating and maintenance. Especially if custom plugins are installed. Leaving that to chance would be like a driver educator not teaching their students they’ll need to check the oil or fill up the car with fuel before the needle goes past E.
