Just purchased complete Business pack and trying to set up a new site. If I turn off the “Roles and Permissions” plugin the standard question groups appear to edit/add to. But as soon as I turn it back on they disappear. I am working currently with full WordPress admin on my user.
Also in an event the drop down selection does not seem to relate to any group of questions

Hi Barry,
Welcome to Event Espresso and sorry you are having some difficulties, I will try to help you get these sorted.
The question groups just disappear from the list? Or do they become locked as in you cannot open the group to edit?

Which dropdown are you referring to please? I couldn’t see any dropdown on your test event.

If the Roles and permissions” plug-in is activated the standard groups, Personal information and address information disappear form the back end in Groups.
Also when activated the new group I created disappears when I de-activate the plug-in.
When you go to add an event in the back-end the group of questions doesn’t seem to work for either. Even if I have de-activated the plug-in the event does not seem to show more than first name, last name and email even when I add more questions or select standard options already in groups.

That’s very odd and something I can’t recreate locally.
Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this?
If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/
NOTE: login details need to be Admin level and FTP details are appreciated.

Hi Barry,
OK, I was a little perplexed by this but I have it resolved now.
AS you are not the site Admin, with Roles and PErmissions active it sshows the questions/groups you ahve made, not all of them.
If you look at this screen shot, you will see a link near the top that says All Questions or All Groups, clicking that will display the questions for you. http://d.pr/i/KThQ
Regarding the missing questions on the event. I looked at the active event and only the Personal Information group of questions was active (it is always active). I ticked the Road Race box and updated the event http://d.pr/i/PpYW
The questions now show, I can only assume the wrong box was ticked or something.
