We would like our customers to be able to use egift cards that are purchased via our Square account on classes we sell through Event Espresso. This is currently not a feature with the Square Payment Gateway.

Event Espresso does not currently have a gift card solution available. You could look into setting up & selling your gift cards with the WooCommerce “Smart Coupons” extension or similar plugin.

We are specifically looking to use Square egift cards via the Square Payment Gateway. We already seel and use Square egift cards for our store and want our customers to be able to use them to purchase class tickets as well.

Yes, I know this feature is not offered in EE. I’m suggesting that it gets put on the development list. We do not have the budget to hire a developer. Other event ticketing services already have this feature so we will likely switch to them.

Did submit it to our tEEm for planning and consideration and it will then be added on the development list.
