Hi mrclarke,

Within your Dashboard can you go to Custom Fields -> Sponsor Details.

Edit the Logo/Image field.

Look for ‘Return Value’ and set it to ‘Image URL’ – http://take.ms/y3nIB

Now update the Field Group.

Refresh your event page, does the image now appear?

Hello Tony,
Unfortunately the image is still not appearing at all.

Have you cleared the sites cache since making the above change?

You’ll want to follow the steps here to exclude Event Espresso from caching:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/setup-nocache-exclusion-rules-event-espresso/

We can’t see much from the sites source code, just that there is no URL for the image src. I would re-trace the stesp from the tutorial, ensure all field names are spelt exactly as shown in the screenshot (check for whitespace before/after the name).

Please let us know how you get on.

I ran through the tutorial on a test site and short of setting the Return Value I found no issues, so I’m curious as to what is causing your site not to show the image.

Great ๐Ÿ™‚

Can I ask what the cause was?

You shouldn’t have to ask, how rude am I after all the help I have received from fellow EE users and support. Anyway in my case the actual image wasn’t uploaded – I could have sworn I had done this, but after I created a whole new event (this time making sure the image was uploaded) and the changes saved it worked. I then went back to the old event and the elephant in the room was pretty obvious. Oh you may also want to point out that it should be: Image url, not ID or Array.

Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚

I only asked in-case there was an issue we needed to address to prevent future users running into the same problem, I’m just glad your up and running.

I have added a note to the tutorial that mentions the Return Value which should help with this in the future.

If you do have any further problems/question just let us know.
