Ok, but if a WordPress User is set up as an Event Administrator and is listed as the Author, shouldn’t they be receiving notifications when a customer makes a purchase? Am I missing a step?
They can. SYou can set the Event Admin message context to send to the author by going to Event Espresso > Messages > Default Message Templates and you click on the link to edit the Event Admin message. So for example, if you want to send the Payment Received message type to the event author, you go to “Event Espresso – Editing Email Payment Received Template (Event Admin Recipient)” and edit the To: field so it will have this shortcode: [EVENT_AUTHOR_EMAIL].
