Hello, |
keeping an eye on this.. as we’re having an issue with what sounds like the same or at least related problem. |
Hi Andriy, Can you go into the database and delete the |
EE Support, i didn’t know how you like to deal with these so that’s why i just added to the existing thread. |
You’re welcome. We’ve found that the conversation can be a bit confusing for the original poster if more participants join in, so we’ll split out the topics so we can keep the replies direct and organized. |
Josh, could you be more precise about what i need to delete and where. I’m afraid some of the under the hood stuff is a little outside of my element but i will try. |
Are you familiar with using a tool like PHPmyAdmin? If so, you go into PHPmyAdmin (or a similar tool) then go into the wp_options table of your site, then do a search for |

Ok im working on this today… problem is our server is running in a container and i have restricted access as my university IT people are trying to keep things “secure” so i’ll work with them to access this and then advise. I am keeping an eye on your other conversation about ram usage as i’m still unclear if this fix or whatever is forthcoming there will solve our issue. |
In that case I can recommend a different approach to fix this: 1) You install these two plugins: 2) These plugins add a Debug > Console item to your WordPress admin bar. You’ll go to that console screen 3) Then add this code to the console: |

did this, have EE enabled and running.. soo far soo good.. |
Nice work! |
Installed & activated both plugins, nothing showing up in the wp admin bar… |
up at the top right by the logout button |
Found it. Not working… |
Again doesn’t work. RAM footprint keeps increasing. I need a fix TODAY as we have games and I’m losing ticket revenue! |

@utahhockey, Your site may have an entirely different issue than what Andriy posted about (which is why I split his reply into a new topic and we worked things out for his site here). We can continue working with you to get the issue on your site resolved, and it will be very helpful to know exactly what the hosting tech did (mentioned in your other topic). Along with that, please be sure your site has all the latest updates for Event Espresso and its add-ons. |
Our WP and EE installs are fully patched. Either way there is a serious bug in the latest version of EE that needs to be addressed. |
AJ, I checked your site and it doesn’t have the latest version of WordPress or Event Espresso. If you go to your WP Dashboard you should see some prompts to update your site. |
I did see a new version of EE come through today.. i did apply that as well. but that fix above did seem to help even before that patch. |
OMG, you guys released .51 while we are talking and expect me to know that? |
No, we don’t expect you to know that Event Espresso was updated earlier today, but I did ask you to update earlier in this conversation. |
I double checked the console and there was nothing listed. EE never shows up so I have to manually check it all the time. Its now been updated. |
Great! I’ll follow up with your topic. |
