I would also like to find out the same questions. Basically want to see how easy is it to take out information from the events, create our own categories and display this information in a page with different events from that category.

Hi eventMaster,

I have split your query from this forum post (https://eventespresso.com/topic/pre-sales-checklist/#post-154109) as I feel this needs it’s own thread.

I’d like to know more about what you’re trying to achieve please.

As it stands events can be displayed by category via a shortcode. You could also use the API (EE3 only currently, we’re working on the EE4 version), to grab data and manipulate it as needed with your own custom code.
