I manually registered two participants. I used the event->registartions->Add New Registration button. Entered the # of tickets (2). The next screen had fields for first name / last name / email address. I filled in the fields for one participant and hit the “send” button. Now I have two tickets for the same person. I’d like to edit one ticket and change the name/email to the other participant. How do I do that? When I change the information on one ticket, it changes the information on the other ticket. Hi there, Edit the second registration and look in the sidebar, do you see a ‘create contact’ button – http://take.ms/9I8fv Click that and EE will generate a new EE contact with the same details as the primary registration and direct you to the contact page – http://take.ms/FalxT Now set the name for the new contaxt in place of the original contact details, remember your now editing a duplicate contact so these changes are specifically for the new contact assigned to that the registration you are editing. Hit save and check the registration, it should now show the new contact details. |

I do not. I started at the Event Espresso registrations page. Clicked on [registration name] 2/2. I see an update, but no create. I have screen shots, but don’t see how to include them. |
For screenshots you’ll need to host the image and post a link, or use a snippet tool. We have some methods for adding screenshots here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots The create link not showing would normally mean the current registrations attenee object does not match the primary registrants attendee object, meaning they are already split. |

Here’s the screenshot of the two registrations. https://coachingbeyondtheteam.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/2018-02-05_09-03-27.png I clicked on the second link. Here’s what I see: No “create contact” button. |
Hi there, The Create Contact button will appear just below the edit contact button like this: As Tony mentioned already, the Create Contact button will only appear if there isn’t already a contact attached to the registration that doesn’t match the primary registrant. Can you check to see if there is more than one contact record under that name? |
