Hi Ted,

I have split your reply into a new thread so we can work on each site individually.

Do you have the Espresso JSON API Add-on installed and activated?

Thank you Tony for your help. I installed the JSON plugin. It is under the EE3 plug ins in my account. I am using EE4.20 now. I can log in to my website in iPhone and iPad, but it says that there is no class. I can not see upcoming classes nor the previous classes.Thank you again for your help

Hi Ted, could you clarify on the version of Event Espresso that you are using?

The mobile apps along with the JSON API are currently compatible with Event Espresso 3 at this time.

The JSON API is to be used with EE3 and the EE3 Ticketing Apps. so yes you can remove it.

The ticketing apps both for iOS (iPhone, iPad etc) and Android are compatible with EE3, as you are using EE4 you can not use those apps to scan tickets.

We currently do have a fully integrated ticketing app available for EE4.

Is it just ticket scanning you need the app for?

Yes it is just for scanning the attendance before the workshop.

Hi Ted,

We offer the barcode scanner add-on for scanning tickets in EE4. This is a WordPress plugin that can be used with most barcode scanning hardware to scan tickets generated by EE4’s ticketing add-on.

Along with that, there are iOS apps like this one that will let you use the built in camera to scan ticket codes into the Event Espresso Barcode add-on’s interface.
