I am developing a site for a charity that are putting on a cycling event. The request is that the website will be set up to take payment for registration. I have stumbled across your website while searching for an event manager plugin. My questions is does this extension support the following? Registration Form First Name: [TextField] Address Line 1: [TextField] Price per ticket is £20 User has option to register additional attendees so they could pay for any number of other attendees. User can add a text field for name: [For every additional atenddee the user wants to add the price goes up by £20] It is important that for each ticket a unique code is generated. The idea is that instead of having a simple drop down for the number of attendees that will be paid for but a text field is generated for each attendee where the user can enter their name. Each name will generate a unique code / sku for each attendee so we will have unique code for each attendee as apposed to each order. Payment option will be paypal so user will be redirected to PayPal to make payment – once payment has been made charity and user will get confirmation email of attendees and payment of all registered users and their unique codes. Is this all something that can be achieved with this extension, if so then we will purchase. Thanks in advance. Hi Dan, Thanks for your interest in Event Espresso, I’ll try to answer your questions as best as possible. Regarding the form, it supports everything apart from the date format (this is coming in the next major version) and the email confirmation. Each attendee must provide first and last name and email in order to register, everything else can be added as custom questions. Additional attendees are possible, we have 3 different ways here: no additional info, so the main attendee buys X tickets but only their info is stored, personal info required so each attendee must supply name and email and full registration, every attendee must provide name and email plus any other allocated questions. Currently each registration will have a unique ID, but if a group is registered each attendee within the group will be tied to one ID. It’s just the way it works right now. In the future each group member will have a unique ID. PayPal, yep. Emails after payment, yep. The next version of Event Espresso (EE4) is due to be released as a Beta soon (can’t give an exact date sorry) and it will resolve the date question and ID issue. Please let me know if you have any further questions or need clarification. I would also recommend checking out our Test Drive page, as it links to different ways in which you can test Event Espresso – https://eventespresso.com/product/full-event-espresso-test-drive/ |

Thank you for your reply Dean, would the personal license be sufficient for my request, as it is for a charity I am conscious of keeping the codes down. Could you please advice what license would be required for this brief. I understand your comments on the date, email verification and unique id for each member is not included. |

Hi Dan, It should be fine as you don’t seem to need any additional functionality, that being said I always recommend the Business licence, it offers the best value for money (cost vs supplied add ons). The main difference between licences is the plugins they offer: https://eventespresso.com/pricing/ (click the blue plus signs). We also offer a discount on the first years purchase for none profits, subsequent years renewal already have sizeable discounts built in. You can request a discount via this form: https://eventespresso.com/contact/non-profit-discounts/ |
