Hello,
I try to do the following but I didn’t manage until now:I would like to create a specific field, directly linked to a ticket in the event forms, in which the organizer could write specific information about this particular ticket but which wouldn’t be public (no one could see it in front end).
The idea is the following: I would like to be able to send this information only via the notification I send to a subscriber to confirm his registration. But I don’t want people who are not approved yet being able to see this information.
We need this kind of field to send confidential information to the confirmed registrants such as building codes or the phone number of the owner of the place where the event should happen, etc.
The field “details of the ticket” can’t be the one as everyboddy can see it in front-end, but the idea is to have exactly the same kind of field but like a “secret field”.
Do you know how I could do this please?

Hi there,
That kind of customization is not something we could provide support for on the forums.
However I would recommend taking a look within the EE4 WP User Integration add-on as it adds its own field to the tickets.
Look at insert_ticket_meta_interface() as it shows how to add an additional field.
Look into update_capability_on_ticket() as it shows how to hook in and save the value for the ticket.
Now that in order to use that value within messages your also going to need to create your own custom shortcodes for the EE messages that will pull the value from the ticket meta.
