I need for the user to be able to find classes based on drop down select categories. ie: we are trying to allow users to find classes in their county/city.

we started using “create post” function so that user can search based on wordpress categories but then realized that the create post when checked was randomly deleting old posts.

shouldnt there be a way for users to select ee3 categories from a single or multiple dropdowns?
please advise.

Hi there,

The Events Category Accordion Template Add-on for EE3 adds this. There’s more information here:

ive taken a look and im not sure its what i need. to be clear what im looking for is a way to allow the user to select a category and display all the classes for that category on the search page.
in addition i would like multiple variables for instance. show all classes that are in “this category” and “this category” results would then display

In that case I can recommend getting in touch with one of the developers listed here and they can give you a quote to build a template to your specifications:
