HELP!!!!! My customers are getting irritated that they can not sign up for classes. This just started happening. Need help asap as I amlosing business!!
I checked the source of the above linked page by clicking View>Source and at the bottom of the page it’s showing that there are template files that were copied into the /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates folder. If these were copied over from a prior version of Event Espresso then that’s likely the cause of the issue.
If you have modified templates in there, they need to be updated to use the new template files included with the current version of the plugin.
If you haven’t made any modifications to the files in the /uploads/espresso/templates they can be removed. If you are not sure if there were modifications made to these files, you can back these up or rename that folder just in case.
You can automatically rename the /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates folder by going to Event Espresso>Template Settings and clicking the “Rename templates directory” button near the bottom of the page. This will not delete any customizations that were made, but it will allow the core Event Espresso plugin templates to be used instead.
The best thing here is to rename the folder so the plugin can use the defaults. It doesn’t delete anything so if you have made modificatiosn they will be saved.
In WordPress go to Event Espresso > Template Settings.
Scroll down a bit and you will see a grey box named Rename Templates Directory http://d.pr/i/PERX thats actually a button. Click it and and it will do as it says.
Then refresh your site and try and do a registration test to see if everything is in order.
