Some users experiencing checkout issues

See below from one of my clients:
I booked the room several weeks ago, but when I try to register for the conference all that happens when clicking the ‘proceed to payment options’ button, is that the site scrolls up and I don’t get to a new window.

As I mentioned in my previous emails, I tried it in Google Chrome, Safari and Firefox on a Mac.
I also asked my wife to try it on her computer at home (windows computer, different network) which gave the same problem.

My colleagues Miao and Yi tried it unsuccessfully as well (from Boston as well as from Chicago).

I couldn’t replicate their issue, is this browser specific or OS specific? They mentioned they tried several browsers.

I found out that some academic emails (eg. Childrens.harvard.edu) is being filtered and they can’t make it to the payment step. Why is this happening?

Hi there,

Event Espresso doesn’t filter specific email addresses but there is an option to check for valid emails which may be getting tripped up with the above.

Go to Event Espresso -> Registration form -> Reg form settings.

What is set for you email validation level option?
