I am going to be building a website for a small nonprofit organization that does 4-5 events a year. They are looking to bring the sign up and purchase of tickets online. So far event espresso seems like the best bet for them.
I just had a few questions about event espresso and if it provides these features and if so which EE version should I purchase we need to be able to:
Allow online registration so guests can purchase tickets online through a payment gateway (we will probably set this up through paypal), print their ticket to the event, each event has a variety of attendance options so we will need to have multiple ticket types. Now these features I’m pretty sure are included in EE3 so its looking good so far.
Just one last feature which I am unsure about. Receipting. Because this is a nonprofit organization part of the ticket price is tax deductible. I was wondering if the there is some sort of receipting system the user will receive and if it is customizable so we can include what percentage of their purchase is tax deductible and also include our charitable business number.
If you can provide any insight on this, it would be most helpful. Is receipting done through event espresso or through the payment gateway that we choose to setup up with the plugin. If paypal doesn’t allow you to customize the receipt is there another option that does?
Event Espresso allows you to customize the message that is sent out to the registrants/attendees. Here is an example that I created based on your feedback:
Also, if a member loses the email notification (delete from inbox), then you can easily resend it to them through the WordPress admin.
