Has there been a solution for this previous bug https://eventespresso.com/forums/2011/04/events-in-category-not-displaying/

I display classes on individuals pages but do not need to display the whole years worth on Jan 29 when they can only register for ones happening up until April 29. Both of the short codes below fail to remove non-open classes from the display.

[raw][EVENT_LIST show_expired=false category_identifier="xyz-1357526321"][/raw]

[raw][EVENT_ESPRESSO_CATEGORY event_category_id="xyz-1357526321" show_expired=false][/raw]

Hi Joan,

The two shortcode variations both work, but unfortunately not for what you are trying to do.

They work for expired events, events where the registration end date is in the past, whilst your situation needs it to not show events that are not open to registration yet.

Im not sure how you limit what classes can be signed up for, but the only option I can think of is:

Assign categories to the events e.g month names, and use the EVENT_LIST short code with the category attribute to show one or more months on a page.

Eg. [EVENT_LIST event_category_id=”category1, category2″]
