Sold Out vx Expired and the Waitlist

Hello there!
We are currently using the following shortcode on our main Events page:

[ESPRESSO_EVENTS category_slug=event show_expired=false order_by=start_date,id button_text=’More Info’]

What is happening is that when an event sells out, it no longer shows so people are not able to sign up for the waitlist. Is there some way to show events that have waitlists? Am I over thinking this?

Hi Shelly,

I know from your previous threads that you are hooking into the queries used for EE events and removing sold-out events, quick example is HERE.

If you temporarily comment out the custom code hooking into post_where do the sold out events show up again?
