Hi again! As of EE 4.4.7, our Ticket Selector on the user side does not show events as Sold Out. Instead, the selector is simply not there. Was there a change in the template or something?
thanks

Hi, if the ticket selector has multiple ticket options and one of them becomes sold out, then the sold out notice will appear on that specific ticket option.

If all tickets sell out, then this changes the status of the event to sold out which pulls the ticket selector.

Examples:

2/5 tickets sold out = two sold out notices
5/5 tickets sold out = event status changed to sold out and ticket selector is removed

Let us know if you are seeing something different.

I am seeing what you describe, but that is not how it was just 1 or 2 minor versions ago. Previously, the selector would show null values rather than a drop down, and either “Expired” or “Sold Out” or something to that effect. We prefer the old behavior, for what it’s worth. Thanks for clarifying.

Hello again, I was able to duplicate this behavior by testing 4.4.5 vs. 4.4.8.

I’ve sent a question to the development team to see if this is the expected behavior. I’ll update this support post once I’ve heard back.

Thanks

Lorenzo
