sofortüberweisung supported?

In this discussion I saw that in 2014 sofortüberweisung was not supported:

I just wanted to know if this is still the case and if there are any plans to implement support for this payment gateway.

Sofortüberweisung would be great. I think the most of the german customers would use this method or are interested in, at least.
