I’m progressing nicely along with my client’s site:

http://www.rab.co.za/radioworks2012-jozi-book/
http://www.rab.co.za/radioworks2012-cape-town-book/

I’m using the shortcode to have the registration form on this page, but the social media sharing buttons share the event espresso url, instead of my custom branding for these pages:

http://www.rab.co.za/event-registration/?ee=1
http://www.rab.co.za/event-registration/?ee=2 via

Respectively.

Its not a train smash, functionally, it still works, and my site get shared, but I’d love to have the knowledge of how do I change it so that the branded page we created get’s shared instead of the Event Espresso’s created.

Thanks
Haroun

Have you tried setting the alternate registration URL in the event editor to the branded page?

Just did, and no luck 🙁

The social media add-on was developed to link directly to the registration page. Instead of trying to hack it to redirect elsewhere, I’d recommend using an alternative plugin like “Add This” and placing the icons directly on these pages.
