I am trying my best to understand the EE4 support docs but I am really struggling. They are no way near as intuitive to follow as EE3.

All I want to do is is create events for my training courses, I have created a template in wordpress and all I want is to convert that to event espresso.

How do I do this!

Hello,

In Event Espresso 4, the events reside under the following slug:

/events/

So if you had an event called Training Course, then this would be the URL:

example.com/events/training-course/

The page that you linked to appears to be manually created and then have some event-related content at the end.

The event-related content could be re-created by using the Events Table View Template add-on:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/events-table-view-template-add-on/

As you create events using the event editor, then they will be populated into the events table.

Then a registrant/attendee would click-through one of the links in that table and then they would be taken to the single event page so they could complete a registration.

You could then include a link to your custom page in your website’s navigation.

Hi Lorenzo

The event is manually created as I said its a template I created in wordpress. That is the end product I want to achieve.

After days of reading the EE4 documentation I am at complete loss as to how to achieve such a workflow:

Training Course Description (my template) > Dates Available (a depicted by the table in my example template)> Register > Pay

Hi,

That registration flow is what I mentioned in my prior reply.

Have you created at least one event?

If so, could you provide a link to it?

Also, is the Events Table View Template add-on installed on your site?

Hi there,

If the template shown on this link:

https://www.sapphireqhse.co.uk/training_courses/iosh-managing-safely/

is intended to be the output for each individual event then you would need to create your own custom single-espresso_events.php template file to output the details that way. Event Espresso uses your sites theme to output the details and hooks into the_content of the single post template file to add the event details.

This means to create your own unique single event template that will be used for each event you need to create a template specifically for EE events.

The output you are requesting would need some custom coding to output the tickets in the same way as shown here: http://take.ms/FgxiB

You should be able to achieve something similar (by not exactly the same) to the above by default by including the details within the event description and including the ticket selector at the bottom of the page (all available within EE core when creating the event)

If you prefer to request a refund you can use the contact form here:

https://eventespresso.com/contact/

Select sales/billing question and request a refund there.
