Hi there
I am looking to use smart slider 3 to display events from event espresso – but none of the meta data/labels seems to be available. I can select it to show only events but not what to show about that event – IE show the date, time, location, etc
I have followed this but to no avail!

Hi James,
I’m afraid this would probably require changes to the Smart Slider 3 plugin. In any case this is outside the scope of support.

Thanks Josh, do you know of any other wordpress sliders that event espresso integrates with propertly – ie I can get all the info above passed across to the slider?

I don’t believe there’s a plugin that does that. I do know that the Revolution Slider has the ability to pull in Event Espresso events, but it only displays information like the event title and the featured image.
One user reported that events from Event Espresso continued to display in the Revolution slider after the event was past. This code snippet prevents that from happening:

If you end up going with the Revolution Slider plugin, you can add the above to a functions plugin or into your WordPress theme’s functions.php file.
