Hi.
I’m re-developing a website on a demo installation. I’m thinking ahead, is there an easy way to bring in the “live” site EE registration data into the demo site to then push it live?

Which version of Event Espresso is the live site running?

Hi Tony, Running EE4. The demo site was cloned from live but having a cosmetic upgrade.

The easiest way is use this plugin:

The free version of wp migrate db is the second easiest and is available from the wordpress.org plugins directory.

Hi Josh,

I’ve used this before to update sites. This will wipe the “live” site though, I need to retain the new bookings that have been made since the “demo” site was cloned. There isn’t an import/export version for the EE bookings?

That’s correct, there isn’t an import/export version for Event Espresso bookings.

Here’s a different solution that can be used to merge specific changes to the live site:
