Site License & Mulitple dates per event

Two questions:

(1) My EE account shows that I have a Personal License and displays my two site license keys, however, the status is displayed for each is “not active”. When viewing the forum, posts from EE are displaying a message that says I need a License in order to view. What do I need to do to activate?

(2) Is there an option to have an event with multiple event dates? For example, a course that is offered several times a year? The goal would be to allow the user to select the date they want to register for.

Thanks!

Greg

Hi Greg,

For the first part of number one, you can enter your site license key for the site(s) you have that are running Event Espresso. Note that you’ll need to have version 3.1.24.P or higher to do this. Please see this guide for more info: https://eventespresso.com/topic/plugin-auto-update-tips/

For the second part of #1, it sounds like you might be looking at posts while not logged in, or posts that are in a forum section only viewable by those who have a different license. For example, posts in the Multi Event Registration forum section are viewable to those who have purchased that add-on. You should have access to the premium, calendar, and social forums though.

For question #2, you could create an event for each instance (or copy an existing event, and change the dates of the new instances) then use the calendar to display the events.

The recurring event manager might help streamline this process if you have a lot of events, and it’s installed on the free test drive site if you’d like to try it out: https://eventespresso.com/download/test-drive-event-espresso/
