I had this problem a month ago and now it has happened again. I logged in to WP to do the updates and I find the following error.

“There is a new version of Event Espresso available. View What’s New with version 3.1.28.4.P. You need a valid Site License Key to enable automatic upgrades. Your current membership level does not allow automatic upgrades on more than one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.”

Domain name is http://www.ezts.ca
I have a valid site license for this site.
My membership is current.

Can someone please reset the key again and tell me why this keeps happening please.

Hi Chris,

This continues to keep happening because we are continuing to work out some issues with licensing restrictions.

I’ll reset that right now, and what you can do next is go to Event Espresso>General settings on your site and remove the key there and save. Then you can go to your account page and copy then paste the key from the account page into the key field in Event Espresso>General Settings, then save again.

Same issue here again. Could I get a reset as well?

scboston,

Again, sorry for the troubles. We are very close to a fix for this issue.

We have reset your license key. Please remove the key from the field in your settings, save, then reenter the key and save again.

Hi Bryce,

We are working on the license key issues, please see this post for more info:
https://eventespresso.com/topic/update-on-license-key-issues/
In the meantime, we can try resetting the key for your site. I’ll reset that right now, and what you can do next is go to Event Espresso>General settings on your site and remove the key there and save. Then you can go to your account page and copy then paste the key from the account page into the key field in Event Espresso>General Settings, then save again.
After updating the key field, you can go ahead with the update. Please follow these steps:
1. Update any active addons that have updates first.
2. Update Event Espresso core plugin last.
Note: You should not receive any license key invalid messages, however, there is the possibility you’ll receive it for addons that were not updated during this cycle. If you get that in the future, ask for a reset and that final reset will fix the issue.
