Simplifying Checkout – Disabled Invoice but still can select payment method

Hello,

I’m using WordPress 4.0.1 and EE 4.4.6.p. I’ve disabled Invoice as a payment option but the checkout still requires a 2 step process. Shouldn’t EE 4 NOT require you to select a payment option as creditcard if there is only ONE option? Is there a way to simplify the checkout page and not require so many clicks?

Not currently but in 4.6, we’ve changed the behavior so this is no longer required. We expect to release that version early next year.

When a single payment gateway is enabled, then that one will be automatically selected.
