is it possible to show the “My Events” view on a custom page or even show inline in the default user dashboard view? I’d like to use the “theme my login’ plugin for all login’s, registration but the “my events” does not get included on these views. thanks in advance |
Someone told me they were able to create a page template that displayed the ‘My Events’ view in an iframe, but I don’t know how they did that. I downloaded the ‘theme my login’ plugin to see what was up and the my events menu was still available under the profile section, even for the subscriber level user. |

Oh really? I must have missed that. I’ll reenable and check again. Would love if that works! |

OK, we’re both correct in a sense, unless I’m missing something? When logged in as a subscriber Im able to see “Events Profile Information” but I am unable to see the actual events themselves where I can see which classes I’ve registered for, their status and the ability to cancel. |

so, i just need to figure out a way to call that data out. I thought I could create a template for my “login” page that theme-my-profile plugin uses, then somehow include or use an iframe to show the “my events page” information. No luck. If anyone knows another way to get this information and allow it to be edited the same way it is in the wordpress admin, then this would be a great customization. |
Make sure that you are logged in while registering for an event. Here’s an example of a subscriber user level my events page with the theme my log in plugin active: |

Hey thanks Josh, Here is a screenshot showing the event profile information on my front end which is great, would love to have the “Events” I’m subscribed to here as well. Not sure if this is possible or realistic. |
You’d probably have to extend the theme my login plugin to create a view for the my events page. |

OK, thanks Josh. appreciate the help |

Kevyn have you found a solution? |

My solution was to use some plugins to hide the “dashboard” from the admin for the “subscriber” user role. Only if they manually type in “wp-admin” will they see the dashboard. I just uses static links in my templates to point them to a “my events” page which does show the admin theme and skin. It would be nice to be able to have the “my events’ show in front end but I’m afraid there are just too many hoops to jump through to make it worth while. my process seem sufficient enough and the subscribers only ever see that view when they need to see their events, not the end of the world. |
