I have the following code [ESPRESSO_EVENTS show_expired=true] entered for my event page. However, none of my past events show up. Each are set to public, have “Active” set to Yes and the registration has ended. What am I doing wrong?
The [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode does not use parameters like show_expired. You can use [EVENT_LIST show_expired] on a different page (not the page set as the main registration page to list out events and include expired events.
Please have a look at the shortcode documentation for more info:
What is the point of the [Expresso_Events] shortcode? So, if I want expired events to show on a page, I will need to hide the Expresso Events code page or it won’t work?
The [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode serves a very important function: It lets people register for events.
It will display the default event list if you navigate your web browser to the page as a fallback. That’s why we recommend hiding the page with the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode from the site navigation if you want to display a customized event list.
Ok, gotcha. I’m having a few other issues but I guess I need to post those questions separately on the forum since they aren’t exactly about this same thing. Thanks!
