Hey Folks,
my customer just told me, that they would like to show the tickets left already in the overview. I’m using the shortcode to display the events of a category on the page. Additionally to the event title and “book now” button I want to show a count with the information how many tickets are there.
I guess its again something where I need to write custom code but maybe you can tell me if there is already something I can use or if it possible at all.

Hey Tony!
Yes this is the right direction. Is there any way to get the result of this shortcode into the list which I embed into my page? If I click on “Sign up” to get to the detail page, there now is a counter, that’s nice. Having it already in the list which I embed in my article with the event-espresso shortcode would be amazing.

Which shortcode are you using? [ESPRESSO_EVENTS]?
If so, the first snippet hooks into the ticket selector so you would need to enable the ticket selector on your event list for that to work.
Event Espresso -> Events -> Templates -> Event List Pages
Set Display Ticket Selector to Yes.
The second snippet uses the datetimes so they need to display, same section but set ‘Display Datetimes’ to Yes.
