The code that @lorenzocaum is referring to in this post from 2015 stopped working recently. I downloaded a new version of the espresso-events-table-template.template.php from the plugin directory and the instructions outlined in the github gist is no longer valid/working anymore. Can someone please make new instructions for how to add “remaining datetime quantitites for each event” in the Event View Template? Or even better if you build support in the plug-in itself to activate this using a shortcode?

Hi there,

The instructions are slightly different as additional features have been added to the template since that tutorial was created however the changes noted in that tutorial are still valid, just on different line numbers.

Heres a copy of the most recent template with the changes made: https://gist.github.com/Pebblo/2695c63f99702f3105559b7602b4d0b6

(Note the above will be removed once Lorenzo updates his tutorial to prevent multiple locations needing to be updated)

Or even better if you build support in the plug-in itself to activate this using a shortcode?

This is not something we are currently looking at adding to the default template, it increases the number of queries and won’t work when displaying a list of datetimes available on each single event.
