I want show only first recurring event when the registration is open. I have am using short code

[EVENT_LIST limit=2 show_recurrence=false category_identifier="100" order_by="date(start_date), id"]

If I use true for show recurrence it shows all the recurring events. What does show secondary do? Is that what I need to show only once?
