Hello, I am thinking about getting this plugin for my client. I am wondering if this plugin will let you show how many available places there are left for an event.
Also, will this plugin create a list of events people can sign up for? Or can you add a registration form at the bottom of each event page? Or both?
Thank you

Hello Florence,

Yes if the number of spaces is set then the events will show how many spaces remain.

Regarding lists, there are numerous ways this can be achieved, the default being a blog like style where it shows a list of events but they have some details. The Custom Files add on provides some shortcodes to create tabular styles.

Adding a registration form the the bottom of each event page is the default.

I would recommend having the Multiple Event Registration add on if you are looking to use tabular lists as it allows users to add events to a cart.

Hello, thank you for your quick reply. I think this plugin will be just perfect for my client. Are you suggesting getting the basic $90,- plugin plus custom files and multiple event registration?

Hi Florence,

I believe that those two add ons would assist in what you are trying to do. I would however suggest getting the Business licence, it would cost about $5-10 more than buying the Personal licence and those two add ons together, plus you get a bunch more add ons included.

If you would like we offer a test drive of the plugin https://eventespresso.com/download/test-drive-event-espresso/

Hi Dean, that sounds great! One last question. Will I be able to build an extra dail into the registration form that adds additional costs? For example, you sign up for a coaching session ($50,-) and you also want additional health consulation (+ $25,-). So the cost would be $75 instead of $50. These wouldn’t be seperate events, just an extra service during the same event.

Hi Florence,

We are looking to streamline this process in future versions of Event Espresso, but currently the way to do that would be to set two prices for the event one labelled coaching at $50 and one labelled coaching and consultation at $75, then the customer can choose which one they want.

A rough example

One aim we are looking at currently is to allow an easier way of allowing people to add “bolt ons” to an event.

This will work too. Thank you. I will recommend Event Espresso to my client. Hope to work with you soon.
