Hi EE, nice plugin. However my employer wishes to display categories on the calendar.
For example, 3 football matches are to be held next week, and on the calendar, it only shows 1 football icon. Clicking that will lead to Sports category page.
We are expecting alot of events. We dont want the calendar with alot of lines
Is this possible?

Hi there,
Not exactly, but you can set up a page that has a calendar of events that only show events that are in the football category.

Thanks for prompt response.
Unfortunately, there will be 50 matches of football in a month almost everyday, the calendar will be very long.
Any part of the query i can change so it returns the category?
If all else fails, can i use another calendar plugin to with links to the football category page?

Are you using Event Espresso 4 or Event Espresso 3? The reason I ask is because you can query a list of categories, but in either case, the list of categories will not display on a calendar.
