Show attendees in event description, possible?

Hello,

I have a pre-sale question. Is it possible to show the attendees that have registered for an event in the event description, or somewhere else in the front-end?

Best regards,

Coen Hallie

Hi Coen, you can do that in Event Espresso 3 by using the ListAttendees shortcode:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#attendee-list

For Event Espresso 4, you can use a sample function like this in your child themes functions.php file or via a site specific plugin:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/useful-php-code-snippets/#attendee-list

You’ll then see a list of registrants/attendees on the single event page.

Thanks

Lorenzo

Hello again Coen,

A recent version of Event Espresso 4 introduces the [ESPRESSO_EVENT_ATTENDEES] shortcode.

This shortcode can be used instead of the sample code snippet:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-shortcodes-template-variables/#event-attendees

Thanks

Lorenzo
