Hello, I have put in the [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR cal_view=”month”] code in this page and it renders appropriately (http://ptitslutins.org/agenda/). However, when I put [EVENT_LIST], it doesn’t convert. All I see is the shortcode itself (see at the bottom of the page: http://ptitslutins.org/benevolat/kiosque-du-marche-jean-talon/). On that same page, if I try [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR cal_view=”month”], all I see is the shortcode too. Help?! Geneviève |

Hello Geneviève, How are you adding the shortcode – typing it in or cut and paste? If it is cut and paste, try typing it. You could also try typing it in via the HTML tab. If it still doesnt work, then it could be that another plugin is conflicting – do you have any other event plugins running? |
|
I’ve been pasting in the HTML. I’ll try typing. BTW, the Notify me of follow-up replies via email checkbox doesn’t seem to work. I had to surf back to this post to see if it had been answered (the email didn’t get flagged as spam; it’s just not arrived) |

September 11, 2012 at 11:24 pm Hello Gen, Let me know re: shortcode. Re: notify, it is working this end (I use it daily), but i’ll flag it for testing. |

OK, I found the conflict. I’m using shortcodes to show/hide content according to set dates, and the EE code was inside a date range. (http://www.doitwithwp.com/show-hide-part-wordpress-post-certain-time/) There’s an actual plugin that does this also, I may try it… Thanks for your help. As for the email. no dice 🙁

Hey Glad you got the short code issue resolved. The emails wont be going to your gmail account but rather to the website email that is on file here. Is it that email account you’re checking? |
|
The email you have on file (genevieve [at] ptitslutins.org) normally forwards to gmail.com I just tested it and it works fine. |
|
Hey OK I have filed a bug report for the developers to lok into as I cannot recreate this email issue. |

Chris, For some reason, the gmail.com account works fine if addressed directly, so that part is resolved too. Thanks! |
