I’m trying to place an event within a page that includes a slider and other stuff I want to show. But when I do this- it defaults to the basic Event Espresso style. The event alone inherits my theme’s style properly (i.e. when I switch off Themeroller in prefs) but as a shortcode it doesn’t. Is there something I’m doing wrong?

Hi Monica,
Hmmm. This sounds like a plugin conflict. Try to rule out any plugin conflicts. Deactivate all non Event Espresso plugins and test to see if the issue is still occurring. If it is not, then we know it is a problem with another plugin. You can then find out which plugin it is by reactivating each plugin individually and testing to see if the problem starts happening after the activation. When it occurs after activating a plugin, then we know this is the culprit.
