Hi there,
I use the default invoice templates and noticed, that the short code [TOTAL_COST] is empty in my events. In the preview, the total is displayed, but not in my invoices.
Any idea, what might cause this issue? The short code [TXN_SUBTOTAL] works, but I would rather prefer to use the correct short code [TOTAL_COST].

Hi Josh,
Thanks for your reply. I get the wrong total on the preview of the emails and html pages, when I tested it with real registrations, the total was ok. So it must be something with the preview.

The preview is designed to give a representation of how your messages will look and uses dummy data, its more of a visual aid.
EE will attempt to pull in details from a current event/registrations to use within the previews but will display dummy data if none is available so to fully test your messages it would be best to add a test registration to the event and trigger the messages for that registration.
