When I use the shortcode for an existing event that is open for registration and currently active it gives me the error on the page “This event has expired or is no longer available.”

When I view the event from a normal URL it works fine.

What is the shortcode, and what is the URL for the page that this shortcode is on? What is the event’s standard URL?

Also, which version number of Event Espresso is installed, and are there any templates in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates?

What is the URL for the page that has the singleevent shortcode on it?

This might be the wrong short code to use for this application. It looks like the event is not set to show a registration form, and there’s a link to register that directs off-site.

The single event shortcode might work if there are registration start and end dates set though.

I have registration start and end dates set. I have even manipulated them to reflect the past and future in an attempt to get this item to show.

The registration will be off site for this event so it needs to be set that way.

Most of the events we will be hosting will be done off site so we will need to find a work around for this.

Place this link in a custom menu item using the built-in WordPress menu manager:

http://23.23.159.18/wordpress/?page_id=39&regevent_action=register&event_id=9
