After I updated the plugin to 3.1.30 and 3.1.30.1P. The short code of “[ESPRESSO_EVENTS]” is no longer showing the registration form as before. I used the specific short code [SINGLEEVENT single_event_id=”your_event_identifier”] then it worked. Help me out to get it running or download a previous version before 3.1.30 to make it work. |
Can you turn on debugging in your wp-config.php file and check for errors? |
deafnation.com is currently running on debug now. Let me know asap before I disable it before people contact us with problems π |
What is the url to the page with the β[ESPRESSO_EVENTS]β shortcode? |
http://deafnation.com/online-reg/?ee=11 Thats one of the online registration for many events that we use the system. Thanks |
That is definitely strange. Do you have my (or the support) email address? Can you send over login info? |
use moderated then let me know whats your email. |
Sorry, it is late and I was up till 4am trying to get this last update out. I should have just given you this link in the first place: Please fill that out, and myself or Dean will take a look. Thanks! |

Is the online-reg page set as the main registration page in the EE>General Settings>Page settings? |
Josh, the page settings always been the same and directed to the page already set properly. Somehow it turned off after the updates. Is it possible to get the previous versions in zip to replace the current ones? |
I switched the theme to standard by WP and still facing the same problem. So theme is not the problem so hope to find another issue to make it work instead using direct short code per event but more pages to updates π |
Hi Jed, I found the problem. For some reason (and I don’t know why) all of the Event Espresso pages were set to use the Online Registration page. Here’s a screenshot. This may have worked in an older version of Event Espresso, but in order to fix the Jetpack compatibility issue, we had to make the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode work for the main registration page only. Because time is of the essence, I created a few new pages to give the cancelled payment and transaction shortcodes a home and set all page settings to point to the correct pages. The registration page works as expected now. |
